PETALING JAYA: Despite higher revenue, YTL Corp Bhd’s net profit fell about 5% to RM142.9mil for the first quarter ended Sept 30 from RM150.3mil in the corresponding quarter last year on lower contribution from its construction, cement, management services and hotel businesses.
Consequently, the conglomerate saw its earnings per share (EPS) falling to 1.36 sen from 1.44 sen previously.
