Berjaya Land posts RM99.9mil loss in Q3


Temporary anti-dumping measures on ethanolamine products produced in the Malaysia, Saudi Arabia, Thailand and the United States is also being introduced.

KUALA LUMPUR: Berjaya Land Bhd said it had to make a huge impairment charge in the third quarter because of a dispute over the balance of sales proceeds the company was supposed to receive from the disposal of a project in China two years ago.

This resulted in a loss of RM99.9mil reported in the three month ended Oct 31.
