DRB-Hicom to buy land in RM1.9bil deal


PETALING JAYA: DRB-Hicom Bhd has proposed to dispose of a large portion of its non-industrial property assets and its entire hospitality portfolio for industrial land in Johor in a deal worth RM1.9bil.

The diversified group, which is controlled by local businessman Tan Sri Syed Mokhtar Al-Bukhary, said the disposal was part of an exercise to set a new direction for its property business.
