KKB Engineering subsidiary gets Petronas Carigali contract


Moody's cautioned the reintroduction of fuel subsidies would also distort market-determined price mechanisms.

KUALA LUMPUR: KKB Engineering Bhd's (KKB) subsidiary OceanMight Sdn Bhd has secured a contract from Petronas Carigali Sdn Bhd for the latter's wellhead platforms.

KKB announced on Friday the contract was awarded on March 14 to provide engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning of wellhead platforms for the D18 phase two project and D28 phase one project.

“The contract duration is approximately 21 months, in which nine months are for the work execution for D28 phase one project while another 12 months are the warranty period. The contract will commence in March 2018,” it said.

The scope for D28 phase one project shall be engineering, procurement, construction, transportation, installation and commissioning.
