The RM50m contract for Metronic Global is more than 125% of its latest annual published consolidated revenue.
KUALA LUMPUR: HSS Engineering Bhd's associate has secured a RM289.89mil contract from Mass Rapid Transit Corporation Sdn Bhd to be the independent consultant for the Klang Valley Mass Rapid Transit Line 3, Circle Line.
It said on Thursday HSS Integrated Sdn Bhd had accepted the letter of appointment from MRT Corp. The contract came into effect on March 6.
Under the exclusive teaming arrangement between HSSI and its unit, HSS Engineering Sdn Bhd, both companies will collaborate exclusively to execute and complete the contract.
“The contract is expected to contribute positively to the revenue, earnings and net assets of group for financial years ending Dec 31, 2018 to 2026,” it said.
The contract win boosts the group’s order book to a record high RM962.5mil, inclusive of projects undertaken by the recently-acquired SMHB Engineering Sdn Bhd.
