Rafidah Aziz resigns as Supermax chairman


Tan Sri Rafidah Aziz resigned as chairman of Supermax due to personal reasons.

KUALA LUMPUR: Tan Sri Rafidah Aziz has resigned as the independent and non-executive chairman of glove maker Supermax Corporation Bhd.

A statement to Bursa Malaysia on Monday stated that the former International Trade and Industry Minister had resigned due to personal reasons.

The statement said the resignation took effect from Saturday.

Meanwhile, Supermax, in a separate update after the stock market close, said Rafidah's sudden departure does not affect the company's day-to-day business operations.
