Finance Ministry wants drastic cut in RM31bil LRT3 project

– Reuters

PETALING JAYA: The astronomical cost of the 37-km light rail transit 3 (LRT3) project has to come down drastically from RM31.45bil for the Ministry of Finance (MoF) to support it.

The MoF said it would withhold its support for extra funding unless Prasarana Malaysia Bhd finds a way to slash the total cost of the project.
