Dialog eyes investments in specialty chemical plants


The research firm believes that Dialog is likely to proceed with a further expansion of its tank terminal capacity of 1.2m cu m gradually (expected to start in 2022) as demand for petroleum products and crude oil storage space would be strong upon completion of the many petrochemical facilities in the area.

PETALING JAYA: Dialog Group Bhd plans to make new investments in specialty chemical plants at the Pengerang Phase 3 project, according to CIMB Research.

The research house said, quoting Dialog’s spokesperson, that the firm is in discussions with multiple global investors with Dialog potentially taking 20% to 30% stakes in these plants.
