Kelington secures RM93m contract in Singapore


In its filings with Bursa Malaysia, Yong Tai said its wholly-owned subsidiary YTB Impression Sdn Bhd terminated the deal due to non-fulfilment of the condition precedent as stated in clause 3.1(c) of the joint development agreement. Yong Tai fell half a sen to close at 32.5 sen yesterday.

KUALA LUMPUR: Kelington Group Bhd's unit has received a S$31mil (RM93mil) contract in Singapore to provide turnkey construction and engineering services in Singapore for one of the world’s largest gas companies.

It said on Monday its unit Kelington Engineering (S) Pte Ltd would design and build an ultra high purity (UHP) electronics special gases plant in Singapore. The contract is expected to be completed by end of 2019.

“The contract is expected to contribute positively to the earnings and net assets of Kelington for the financial year ending Dec 31, 2019,” it said.
