Yaris makes a comeback

PETALING JAYA: UMW Toyota Motor has launched its latest offering, the five-door Yaris hatchback, which after a seven-year hiatus, returns as a locally-assembled vehicle from its new Bukit Raja assembly plant in Klang.

“This new addition to the Toyota range also demonstrates the company’s support towards the government’s aspiration for better localisation in vehicle production,” said UMW Toyota Motor president Ravindran K.
