Quick take: Digi, Axiata stock both jump on plans to merge


KUALA LUMPUR: Shares of Digi.com Bhd and Axiata Group Bhd rose in early trade Tuesday after the companies announced plans to merge.

Axiata rallied 13.86%, or 56 sen to RM4.60 with with over 15 million shares traded. Digi rose 9.51%, or 43 sen to RM4.95 with 17 million shares exchanged hands.
