Rising shipment to US boosts Poh Huat revenue, profit margin in Q2


Poh Huat said the change in demographics and the shift in the US market to trendier but more affordable household furniture had resulted in the company

KUALA LUMPUR: Bedroom furniture maker Poh Huat Resources Holdings Bhd said increased demand from customers in the US boosted revenue and profit margin in the second quarter ended April 30.

"We registered healthy increase in shipment and the trend is likely to remain strong in the foreseeable future," the company said in a filing with Bursa Malaysia today.
