Barakah sues Petronas for RM1bil over licence suspension

KUALA LUMPUR: Barakah Offshore Petroleum Bhd said wholly owned unit PBJV Group Sdn Bhd is suing Petroliam Nasional Bhd (Petronas) for RM1.02bil.

The PN 17 company, in a filing with Bursa Malaysia today, said PBJV has issued a notice of demand and dispute on Aug 5 to both Petronas and Petronas Carigali Sdn Bhd after the company's licence was suspended by Petronas for three years.
