MNC invests in film industry with New Zealand's Monfils Pictures

PETALING JAYA: MNC Wireless Bhd (MNC) is investing a “couple of million in US dollars” into its new venture – the film industry – following a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with New Zealand-based production house, Monfils Pictures Ltd.

Under the MoU inked here yesterday, the ACE Market-listed specialised digital technology solution provider and Monfils Pictures will form a joint venture company (JV), with MNC and Monfils holding 51% and 49% interest respectively, to produce and market a biopic of Tim Page, a war photojournalist.
