George Kent quarterly net profit at RM11mil

PETALING JAYA: George Kent (M) Bhd’s second-quarter net profit is down 55% year-on-year to RM11.05mil due to lower contribution from its engineering division.

The lower net profit, the group said, was also on the back of an unrealised loss on foreign exchange of RM0.88mil on foreign currencies held, compared with an unrealised gain of RM1.81mil during the same period a year ago.
