Proton sales for nine months of 2019 exceed last year’s turnover


Proton’s chief executive officer Dr Li Chunrong said the Proton is on track to achieve its best sales number since 2015, adding that Proton Saga has reached the number one spot in the A-segment sedan market.

PETALING JAYA: Proton sales for the nine-month period of 2019 have surpassed its total sales last year, with Proton Saga returning to the number one spot in the A-segment sedan market.

In a press release yesterday, the carmaker said Proton’s sales have surged to a total of 70,330 units in both domestic and export market for the nine-month period of 2019 from its totals sales of 64,744 units in 2018.
