Markets back on track as Mideast tensions ease, ringgit rallies


KUALA LUMPUR: Bursa Malaysia and key Asian markets managed to recoup most of their losses on Thursday as Mideast tensions between the US and Iran cooled off.

At 5pm, the KLCI was up 6.55 points or 0.41% to 1,595.65. Turnover was 2.83 billion shares valued at RM1.89bil. Advancers beat decliners more than two to one with 601 gainers, 254 losers and 358 counters unchanged.
