Perodua targets 240,000 sales in 2020

KUALA LUMPUR: Sales of Perodua vehicles rose 5.8% year-on-year to hit a record high of 240,341 units in 2019, spurred by continued strong demand for all its models, namely the Alza, Aruz, Bezza, Axia and Myvi.

On the back of strong demand, Perodua president and chief executive officer Datuk Zainal Abidin Ahmad said the company expects sales performance for 2020 to be on par with last year’s.
