Datasonic accepts revised letter to supply 11m passport chips


Under the revision, the total quantity of passport chips to be supplied would be reduced from 12.5 million chips to 11 million chips, amounting to RM280.50mil.

KUALA LUMPUR: Datasonic Group Bhd has accepted a revised letter from the government to supply 11 million passport chips and provide maintenance services while total contract sum was unchanged at RM318.75mil.

It said on Friday its unit Datasonic Technologies Sdn Bhd had accepted the letter of change and scope dated Jan 23 from the Home Ministry.
