Celcom’s 5G set to benefit govt, business

Celcom Axiata Bhd aims to expand its 5G Safety and Security Smart City solutions for multiple agencies nationwide.

At present, Celcom is in collaboration with Langkawi’s Royal Malaysian Police (PDRM) and the Langkawi Municipal Council (MPLBP) on an initial 5G trial run to deploy its Internet of things (IoT) solutions for an enhanced security monitoring system that will transform Langkawi into a more secure destination.
