PETALING JAYA: There is demand destruction in some segments of the transportation and logistics industry due to the Covid-19 pandemic, says AmInvestment Research.
This has prompted the research house to downgrade the sector to an underweight from neutral previously.“The pandemic has resulted in a steep contraction in port throughput, a total collapse in demand for air travel and disruption to logistics services, particularly for international mail and parcels, ” it said.
