Sarawak Consolidated Industries Bhd’s (SCIB) net profit almost tripled to RM4.3mil for the first quarter ended March 31 from RM1.6mil a year earlier.

PETALING JAYA: Sarawak Consolidated Industries Bhd’s (SCIB) net profit almost tripled to RM4.3mil for the first quarter ended March 31 from RM1.6mil a year earlier.

The company attributed the growth to higher contribution by its construction business both in Malaysia and overseas.
