NEW DELHI: India’s monthly edible oil imports jumped 64.2% in June compared with the previous month’s volume as demand recovered with the easing of coronavirus lockdown restrictions.
The country imported more than 1.16 million tonnes of edible oil last month compared with 707,478 tonnes in May, according to data from trade group Solvent Extractors’ Association of India.
