KUALA LUMPUR: SapuraOMV Upstream Sdn Bhd’s joint venture has made a discovery in the Toutouwai-1 exploration well in the Taranaki Basin, New Zealand.

said on Friday its associate SapuraOMV Upstream, Mitsui Exploration and Production Australia Pty Ltd and OMV New Zealand Ltd found hydrocarbon in the exploration well which is 50km off the Taranaki coast in 130 metres of water.
