PETALING JAYA: Earnings of local construction companies should start to pick up from the middle of the third quarter onwards as mega projects resume.

UOB Kay Hian, in a report yesterday, said the current government has reiterated the resumption of approved projects like the East Coast Rail Link (ECRL) and Pan-Borneo Highway in an effort to drive the economy.
