Lim plans new drive into Bandar Malaysia

Mega project: A construction worker is seen at the Bandar Malaysia project. Touted as the single-biggest city development in the region, the project has an estimated gross development value of about RM140bil.

AFTER two unsuccessful bids to reorganise his property, toll-road and construction stable of companies in recent years, Johor-based businessman Tan Sri Lim Kang Hoo (pic below) is attempting yet another corporate exercise.

In the latest one announced this week, Lim’s 30%-controlled Ekovest Bhd is proposing to buy part of Iskandar Waterfront Holdings Sdn Bhd’s (IWH) stake in a joint-venture company involved in the Bandar Malaysia project.
