FGV 'disappointed' in US Customs action, will clear name


KUALA LUMPUR: FGV Holdings Bhd says it is "disappointed" in the US Customs and Border Protection's (CBP) ban on the import of its palm oil products, and will engage with the agency towards clearing its name.

In its response issued this morning, the plantations group said it has been taking concrete steps over several years in demonstrating its commitment to respect human rights and to uphold labour standards.
