Report: PNB mulls CCM stake sale

KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysia’s largest state asset manager, Permodalan Nasional Bhd (PNB), is weighing the sale of its stake in Chemical Company of Malaysia Bhd, according to people familiar with the plan.

The state fund is working with an adviser on the potential sale, said the people who asked not to be identified as the matter is private. The first round of bids for PNB’s stake is due as soon as today, one of them said.
