Gloves, Petronas Gas give KLCI a boost


KUALA LUMPUR: Glove makers and Petronas Gas gave the FBM KLCI a much-needed boost on Friday as investor sentiment perked up on some buying interest.

At 5pm, the KLCI was up 10.07 points or 0.64% to 1,593.75. Turnover was nine billion shares valued at RM5.15bil. The broader market was firmer with 690 gainers, 504 losers and 446 counters unchanged.
