AWC-Techkem JV bags RM21mil sub-contract for treatment plant in Melaka


KUALA LUMPUR (Bernama) -- AWC Bhd and its joint-venture partner have secured a sub-contract worth RM20.87 million from Aliran Intelek Sdn Bhd to design and build a compact water treatment plant in Melaka.

The sub-contract was awarded on Nov 30 to a joint venture (JV) between AWC’s wholly-owned subsidiary DD Techniche Sdn Bhd (DDT) and the Techkem group, comprising subsidiaries Techkem Utilities Sdn Bhd and Techkem Resources Sdn Bhd.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, AWC said the sub-contract works were civil and structural as well as and mechanical and electrical works.
