MoF Inc special purpose vehicle to roll out 5G


PETALING JAYA: The Ministry of Finance Incorporated (MoF Inc) through a special purpose vehicle (SPV) will be issued a licence to roll out 5G network infrastructure in the country, said Malaysian Communications & Multimedia Commission chairman Dr Fadhlullah Suhaimi Abdul Malek.

There will be no change in ownership of the SPV for ten years after the award. There will also be no auction process for the 5G spectrum allocation, he told a media briefing today.
