Petronas, China's CNOOC to jointly push for cleaner, secured energy


The scope of collaboration with China National Offshore Oil Corporation (CNOOC) opens up opportunities across Petronas’ integrated value chain and across the globe.

KUALA LUMPUR: Petroliam Nasional Bhd (Petronas) and China National Offshore Oil Corporation (CNOOC) are collaborating to push ahead with their liquefied natural gas (LNG) and upstream projects towards a shared ambition in energy security and cleaner energy solutions.

In a statement issued via Bernama on Monday, Petronas said the two companies had signed an MoU which elevates the long-standing relationship between the two parties.
