SAIC makes Tan Chong’s Viet unit distributor


Tan ChIn a filing with Bursa Malaysia, the automotive company said the appointment was following the nomination of TCMV by another indirect wholly-owned subsidiary of Tan Chong Motor, TC Manufacturing (Labuan) Pte Ltd, to enter into a vehicle and parts export contract with SGMW.

KUALA LUMPUR: Tan Chong Motor Holdings Bhd’s indirect wholly-owned subsidiary, TC Motor Vietnam Co Ltd (TCMV), has been appointed as SAIC GM Wuling Automobile Co Ltd’s (SGMW) exclusive importer and distributor of vehicles and parts for N111P Pickup, N300P Pickup and N300L Cargo Van in Vietnam.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, the automotive company said the appointment was following the nomination of TCMV by another indirect wholly-owned subsidiary of Tan Chong Motor, TC Manufacturing (Labuan) Pte Ltd, to enter into a vehicle and parts export contract with SGMW.
