Petronas to boost digital transformation


Petronas chief digital officer Aadrin Azly said the oil and gas company is also exploring various ways to capitalise on digital transformation to create new revenue streams beyond its traditional operations.

KUALA LUMPUR: Petroliam Nasional Bhd (Petronas) is working towards enhancing its fusion of the Internet of Things (IoT) and analytics technology as well as its utilisation of remote autonomous assets in its operations throughout this year.

Chief digital officer Aadrin Azly said the oil and gas company is also exploring various ways to capitalise on digital transformation to create new revenue streams beyond its traditional operations.
