Cagamas concludes issuance of RM1.5b bonds


Cagamas president/CEO Datuk Chung Chee Leong said the RM1.5bil issuances comprised of two tranches of two-year conventional medium-term notes (CMTNs) with an issue amount of RM700mil and RM800mil.

KUALA LUMPUR: Cagamas Bhd has concluded the issuance of RM1.5bil in bonds which will be used to fund the purchase of housing loans from the financial system.

The National Mortgage Corporation of Malaysia said on Monday the issuances comprised of two tranches of two-year conventional medium-term notes (CMTNs) with an issue amount of RM700mil and RM800mil.
