Record high demand for Pekat shares


The RM794.50mil in subscription amount for Pekat Group's shares for the public portion was the highest since 2019.

KUALA LUMPUR: Solar photovoltaic (PV) and earthing and lightning protection (ELP) specialist Pekat Group Bhd recorded overwhelming demand for its shares offered to the public under its listing exercise.

In a statement, Pekat said the offer of 32.20 million new shares to the public at 32 sen each recorded RM794.50mil for the shares worth RM10.30mil under its public portion.
