MARii, Pekema to speed up EV infra devlopment


MARii chief executive officer Datuk Madani Sahari said the COE is an important platform for the EV ecosystem, particularly in sales, after-sales and consumer experience of EVs.

KUALA LUMPUR: The Malaysia Automotive Robotics and IoT Institute (MARii) and the Malay Vehicle Importers and Traders Association of Malaysia (Pekema) have inked an agreement to accelerate electric vehicle (EV) infrastructure development.

In a joint statement today, MARii and Pekema said under the agreement, the parties would collaborate to set up 1000 EV charging stations (DC rapid chargers) around the country by 2025.
