PETALING JAYA: Japan-listed Taiyo Yuden Co Ltd will be injecting RM680mil to expand its multilayer ceramic capacitors manufacturing facility in Kuching, Sarawak, the Malaysian Investment Development Authority (Mida) announced.

In a statement, Mida said the investment through the company’s subsidiary, Taiyo Yuden (Sarawak) Sdn Bhd, was marked another milestone for Malaysia as the preferred hub for global manufacturers and an Asean gateway.
