Maxis unit issues RM1.1bil sukuk


The telecommunications company said the 11th series sukuk murabahah, amounting to RM150mil, came with a maturity date of Jan 4, 2027.

KUALA LUMPUR: Maxis Bhd’s wholly-owned subsidiary, Maxis Broadband Sdn Bhd, has issued three series of sukuk murabahah amounting to RM1.1bil in nominal value pursuant to its unrated sukuk murabahah programme.

The telecommunications company said the 11th series sukuk murabahah, amounting to RM150mil, came with a maturity date of Jan 4, 2027.
