WORKING HAND-IN-HAND TOWARDS CUSTOMER SATISFACTION

Ninja Van Malaysia has enabled Signature Market to provide nation-wide delivery

WITH a reputation as a reliable and efficient logistics provider, it is no surprise that many companies choose Ninja Van as their delivery partner to ensure their goods reach consumers safely and efficiently in good time.

Signature Market is one such company, and has been working with Ninja Van for nearly six years.

“We’ve been very impressed with Ninja Van Malaysia’s customer support response rate. Issues are resolved within one to two days,” said Signature Market general manager Jeffrey Tem.

“We also love that we have an assigned key account manager who actively updates us on our shipments and has been transparent about what Ninja Van is able to commit to and deliver.”

"On the customer front, Ninja Chat allows receivers to get real-time updates on the status of their delivery. This feature also works both ways to make it easy for shippers to keep track of delivery status of their goods."

Partnering with Ninja Van enables Signature Market to offer competitive delivery rates.

“Ninja Van provides rewards according to the different tiers we hit on our accounts, which allow us to provide better delivery rates to our customers. It also allows us to claim equipment from Ninja Van Malaysia that enhances our logistics systems,” said Tem.

“Ninja Van Malaysia has helped us improve our delivery offerings – from next-day delivery especially in the Klang Valley area, to seven-day pickup and delivery services for all our customers.”

Known for offering natural and healthy products, to date Signature Market has over 700 products ranging from food, snacks, personal care items and aromatherapy products under the Plant Origins label.

Its best seller is the Omega 3-Trail Mix, while the Thai dried mango – a Malaysian favourite – comes in a close second.

Signature Market started in 2014, co-founded by Edwin Wang and John Cheng who noticed that the distribution channels could be costly for businesses. So the duo decided on the direct-to-consumers model.

“We found it interesting because of its many advantages, the biggest of which was putting us in direct contact with customers and allowing us to ship freshly baked products,” said Tem.

“We would also be able to get honest feedback almost immediately. We also thought it could solve some of the biggest problems in food and beverage FMCGs – maintaining freshness and the use of food preservatives.”

When it comes to logistics, Signature Market has a few specific requirements. Top of the list is reliability and trustworthiness.

“It’s crucial to find an honest and transparent partner that can handle our products with care and deliver to customers in a timely manner, while keeping us updated about any delays or complications,” said Tem.

“It’s also important to find a logistics partner that can provide us affordable rates. After we switched to Ninja Van Malaysia, we have been able to provide affordable delivery rates to our customers without hidden costs.

“In addition, Ninja Van Malaysia has also enabled us to provide nationwide delivery – increasing our area of coverage.”

One of the best solutions Ninja Van Malaysia has provided Signature Market is its API Tracking, said Tem.

“Ninja Van Malaysia has helped us to keep close track of our customer’s parcels and has taken the initiative to report any issues to our customer service team so that we can keep our customers up to date.”

On future plans, Signature Market is looking at upgrading itself as a lifestyle fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) brand in Asia with a vision to upgrade community lifestyles and well-being.

Towards this end, the company will host weekly Zoom workshops such as yoga, breathwork exercises, meditation and art classes – free for all to join and learn how to improve their lifestyle.

The company has also launched the second edition of its Gratitude Journal in January 2022 – a guide to help Law of Attraction practitioners attract amazing results in the year to come.
