BEIJING: China is capable of meeting its economic growth target of around 5.5% in 2022, according to the country’s top economic regulator.

“China has the capabilities, confidence and conditions to keep the economy growing within a reasonable range this year,” He Lifeng, head of the National Development and Reform Commission, said on the sidelines of the ongoing two sessions on Saturday.
