Astro set to become full ISP

KUALA LUMPUR: Astro Malaysia Holdings Bhd has launched its standalone fibre broadband called Astro Fibre that will transition the group into a full Internet Service Provider (ISP).

“We’ve extended the offer to include broadband services and seen it resonate – our broadband customer base grew 58% year-on-year as more customers see the value and convenience of bundled broadband with Astro contents,” Astro’s CEO of TV and group chief operating officer Euan Smith said in a statement.
