NANNING: After comparing different brands for more than a year, Yan Likang finally put down a deposit on an Audi vehicle at an auto show in Nanning, capital of south China’s Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, in June.

The 36-year-old decided to make the purchase shortly after China slashed the car-purchase tax.
