KUALA LUMPUR: The government is looking into implementing the medium-term revenue strategy to improve tax transparency and increase tax revenue as a percentage of GDP (gross domestic product) from the current 15.4%, according to Finance Minister Tengku Datuk Seri Zafrul Abdul Aziz.

“Achieving fiscal sustainability is key to support macroeconomic stability. Further, to enhance economic resilience and sustainability, Malaysia will also implement fiscal reforms.
