AmBank keeps ‘AA’ MSCI ESG rating


In a statement, the bank said the ESG rating of AA places AmBank Group in the top 32% of 190 banks rated globally, based on the MSCI All Country World Index constituents, of which only 4% have been accorded the highest rating of AAA.

KUALA LUMPUR: AMMB Holdings Bhd (AmBank Group) has maintained its AA rating from MSCI Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) Ratings that it initially attained in 2020.

In a statement, the bank said the ESG rating of AA places AmBank Group in the top 32% of 190 banks rated globally, based on the MSCI All Country World Index constituents, of which only 4% have been accorded the highest rating of AAA.
