MQ Technology to expand semiconductor operations in Malaysia


KUALA LUMPUR: MQ Technology Bhd (MQTech) is poised to expand its semiconductor operations in Malaysia with an additional investment from Taiwan Superconductor International Semiconductor Technology Co Ltd (TSIST) of up to 30 per cent equity interest in the company.

In a statement, MQTech managing director Tong Sian Shyen said the commitment and support of fresh capital plus semiconductor technology transfer from the Taiwanese semiconductor player would accelerate MQTech's growth.
