Ageson unit inks deal to manage Kobena’s ops


PETALING JAYA: Ageson Bhd’s unit Ageson Net Sdn Bhd is exploring a partnership with Koperasi Belia Nasional Bhd (Kobena), whereby Ageson Net will be appointed as an operator to manage the business operations of Kobena’s 4,000 units of Internet-of-Things-equipped vending machines and retail refrigerators.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia yesterday, Ageson said the memorandum of understanding was a step towards the management of the operation of the smart vending machines, which includes the retail products to be sold in the machines and their integrated network.
