KUALA LUMPUR: T7 Global Bhd’s manpower subsidiary T7 Intelligent Resources Sdn Bhd (T7IR) has secured a 5-year contract from ExxonMobil Exploration and Production Malaysia Inc for the provision of technical and general staffing personnel services.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, the Integrated energy solutions provider said the contract was for a period of five years from Sept 5, 2022 to Sept 4, 2027.

Being an enabling agreement with certain prescribed rates, the contract does not have any specific value and work orders will be issued by ExxonMobil based on its business needs during the term of the contract, T7 said.

“The contract will have no effect on the total issued share capital, shareholdings of the substantial shareholders and gearing of the company for the financial year ending Dec 31, 2022 (FY22).

“The board envisages that the award will contribute positively to the earnings and net assets of the company for FY22 and beyond,” it said.

T7 group chief executive officer Tan Kay Zhuin said: “We would like to thank ExxonMobil for their trust in our capabilities. This is the third manpower contract announced by the group this year and we hope the momentum will continue. We will continue to improve our standards to better serve our clients in future.”
