Single registered device for authentication for CIMB Clicks app from end-October

KUALA LUMPUR: CIMB Bank Bhd and CIMB Islamic Bank Bhd is implementing a single registered device for authentication for CIMB Clicks App effective end-October 2022, in line with the enhanced security measures against scams.

In a statement today, the group said all new and existing users who download or reinstall the App will only be able to register a single device to use the App and its SecureTAC authorisation feature, with that one primary device to be paired to a CIMB Clicks ID at any one time.
