Mitrajaya wins RM68.8mil contract from ECERDC


KUALA LUMPUR: Mitrajaya Holdings Bhd (MHB) has secured a RM68.8mil contract for the construction and completion of road improvement works at Endau Rompin National Park.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, MHB said its wholly owned subsidiary, Pembinaan Mitrajaya Sdn Bhd had accepted and executed the letter of acceptance on the contract awarded by the East Coast Economic Region Development Council (ECERDC).

It added that the contract was for the construction and completion of road improvement works to the existing road from Kg Kahang to Sungai Emas (Southern Package), Endau Rompin National Park, Johor.

The contract is for a duration of 120 weeks from the date for possession of the site on Nov 15, 2022 and is expected to complete by March 3, 2025.

MHB expects the contract to contribute positively to the earnings and net assets of the group for the financial years ending Dec 31, 2023 to 2025.
